Battipaglia

Battipaglia is a town and comune in the Province of Salerno, in the Campania region of southern Italy. With around 50,000 inhabitants, it is one of the most populous municipalities in the province after Salerno itself, and the main agricultural, industrial and railway hub of the Sele Plain.
