In Naples ’44

One of the ring of towns north of Naples put under Lewis’s security charge (with Casoria, Afragola and Aversa), all of them, he discovers, inside Camorra territory. He calls on its skeleton Carabinieri force and vets a local girl hoping to marry a British guardsman.
